Tryout Day: What You Need to Know
To ensure a smooth tryout experience, please follow these guidelines:
✅ Arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in.
✅ Bring water and a soccer ball to stay hydrated and ready.
✅ Wear proper attire:
- Light-colored shirt
- Dark shorts
- Long socks
- Shin guards (mandatory for participation)
Missed Tryouts? Join an Open Training Session!
If you couldn’t attend our official tryouts, you still have a chance to join BUFC! Our Open Training Sessions offer an informal opportunity to experience a real training environment. You’ll get to:
⚽ Train with a current BUFC team and experience our coaching style.
👥 Meet players, coaches, and parents to learn more about our club culture.
📢 Ask questions and see if BUFC is the right fit for you!
Important: If you are currently committed to another competitive club, you must be officially released before joining BUFC.

Player Acceptance Process
After your child completes the tryout process, here’s what happens next:
1️⃣ Selection & Offer: If selected, you will receive an official email offer from BUFC.
2️⃣ Decision Deadline: You have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer.
3️⃣ Registration & Payment: If you accept, you will complete registration and select a payment plan for club fees.
Commitment to the Season
By accepting a spot on a BUFC Competitive Travel Team, families agree to a 10-month commitment (August 1 – May 31). Please consider this before trying out.
